learn more about micro-controllers at HacDC
make something special for my friends who are getting married in April
go bicycling on the eastern shore with elwing2000
attend Space Mission Challenges for Information Technology in July
dedicate a weekend's time and effort to an entry in the ICFP programming contest
visit Japan (scheduled for October, a group trip similar to the one I took in May 2007)
figure out where to live
finish putting together the archery karakuri ningyō and read Loving the Machine: The Art and Science of Japanese Robots so I'm marginally qualified to give a talk on karakuri at Dorkbot DC
make a satellite contact with my amateur radio gear
go on a (beginner-level) kayaking outing with the Chesapeake Paddlers Association

I have to do another dorkbot presentation on my to do list this year too. It would be awesome to do a yearly dorkbot with you.
